What is Cleaning For A Reason?
Cleaning for a Reason provides free home cleaning to patients battling cancer. When cancer makes life at home difficult, our trusted network of residential cleaners, cleaning industry volunteers, and community volunteers come together to support cancer patients and their families.
Why Are We Giving Away a Free Cleaning?
Maid Aid’s mission has always been to make people’s lives less stressful and help give people more time for the more important things in life. So, when we were able to team up with Cleaning For A Reason, we considered it a blessing for us. The opportunity to be able to help people facing a very difficult situation, whether it may be physical or financial, is Maid Aid’s privilege to step in and take a little off people’s plate with a clean home. Cancer touched our lives back in 1999, so we know how stressful life can be. If the simple act of a clean home can alleviate just a small amount of the stress that a family is going through, we at Maid Aid are happy to do so.
How Do I Nominate Someone or Apply for a Free Cleaning?
We want to serve as many patients as we can. The client must live in the San Antonio area and be recovering from cancer surgery, in cancer treatment, or hospice care. The nominee must apply and then agree to have the house cleaned by Maid Aid professionals.
What Does the Complimentary Cleaning Entail?
It is our Regular Maintenance Cleaning. It includes kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. All rooms will be dusted and cleaned including furniture, fixtures, floors.
